International best-selling author, L J Ross, will chat about her upcoming novel, Berwick which is the 24th DCI Ryan novel. In it, our hero faces his most gruelling, personal case yet as his beloved wife Anna stands accused of murder.
Louise Ross, known by her pen name LJ Ross, has 30+ best selling titles to her name, including the DCI Ryan murder mystery series, and has sold over 12 million books worldwide. Born in Ponteland, Northumberland, she uses iconic locations in her home county as settings for her atmospheric suspense thrillers. At this, our opening festival event for 2025, Louise will be talking about her work, including her new book, Berwick. Published on 10th November, Berwick is the 24th DCI Ryan novel, in which he faces his most gruelling, personal case yet as his beloved wife Anna stands accused of murder.
Former barrister turned author, Louise studied undergraduate and postgraduate Law at King’s College, University of London and then abroad in Paris and Florence. She spent much of her working life in London, before taking the decision to change to a writing career. She now writes full time and lives with her husband and two children in Northumberland.
