Emma Decent

I Don’t Know What I’m Supposed To Be Doing.

I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing’ was something Emma’s librarian mother said repeatedly when she had dementia. Now she’s died Emma is wondering that for herself. A powerful, funny one-woman show using theatre, film and library books to tell a family tale that packs a punch.

Emma Decent is a writer, performer, poet and theatre-maker based in the north. She specialises in autobiographical themes inspiring audiences wherever she goes with her entertaining, touching and thought-provoking performances. Relevant and challenging, she tells stories for all navigating life, one another and the human condition.
