David Mark

Creative Writing Masterclass

In this introduction to creative writing, David will help writers at every stage of their careers turn their killer ideas into a marketable manuscript. Whether you’re struggling for inspiration, have started a novel and lost your way, or just want to know now you’ve finished your masterpiece, David will try to provide the answers.

This Masterclass runs from 10.30 – 12.30 and 1.30 to 3.30, with a break for lunch which is not provided but there is a range of food outlets nearby.

David Mark is a former crime journalist who began his writing career with the Cumberland News and has become one of the UK's most popular and critically-acclaimed crime writers. His dark, gritty DS McAvoy novels have been bestsellers around the world, translated into several languages, and been adapted for the stage.
