Michael Pennington

Sweet William

Eminent Shakespearean actor, Michael Pennington performs his one-man show Sweet William, a journey through the life and work of William Shakespeare. Acclaimed worldwide as a unique blend of showmanship and scholarship, it is full of illuminating insights into the plays that Michael has worked  on for over 20,000 hours, as an actor and  director with the RSC, the National Theatre and the English Shakespeare Company. He will regale us with wonderfully detailed and entertaining interpretations of characters and scenes from Shakespeare’s theatre and will perform exerpts from some of the Bard’s greatest work. With an informal atmosphere and plenty of humour, this show offers something for everyone.
