Malcolm Carson

Malcolm Carson

Poetry Breakfast

This is an opportunity to listen to poets reading from their own work or  non-poets just reading poems they have always liked or, simply listening. Usually, around five minutes is allowed per reader. The atmosphere is a really relaxed one. It is a very enjoyable time, and this is the fifth year for Malcolm to look after the comestibles and the proceedings.

Malcolm Carson was born in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. He studied English at Nottingham University, and then taught in colleges and universities. He has had three full collections, Breccia in 2006, Rangi Changi and other poems in 2011, Route Choice, in 2016 and a pamphlet, Cleethorpes Comes to Paris in 2014, published by Shoestring Press.

Ticket price includes a cuppa and a croissant
