Alastair Campbell

The Diaries - From Blair to Brown 2005-2007

Alastair Campbell, though best known for his work as Tony Blair’s spokesman and strategist, is the author of no fewer than twelve books since leaving Downing Street - seven volumes of diaries, a memoir on depression, three novels and a best-selling guide to success, Winners And How They Succeed. Still active in politics and campaigns in Britain and overseas, he now divides his time between writing, speaking and consultancy. He is also an ambassador for a number of mental health charities.

His latest volume of diaries, ‘From Blair to Brown’, covers the period 2005-2007 and is published shortly before the festival.  Alastair will be in conversation with Roger Bolton, independent producer and host of Feedback on Radio 4
