The Art of Travel Writing
‘Each landscape asks the same question. I am watching myself in you; are you watching yourself in me?’ Lawrence Durrell: Spirit of a Place.
The greatest travel writing pulls the reader into a personal relationship with ‘place’. Each view is unique, because each writer is unique. This workshop will explore how we are each other through the alchemy of travel writing.
Please bring with you an ‘aide memoir’ of a personal journey – a postcard, souvenir or artefact – and we will make the journey together.
